Make sure you are already using macOS Sierra 10.12, this feature is only available in the operating system.
Go to Finder – Preferences – Advanced.
There are several options in this section, please checklist “Remove items from the Trash after 30 days”.
Close the Finder Preferences by pressing the red button on the top left or use the Command + W shortcut.

If you already use this feature, every 30-day document that is still stored in Trash will be automatically deleted.
